Major Food Group newest restaurant, Sadelle’s, has quickly become a must-try upscale “bakery” by day and Russian x Jewish restaurant at night. For breakfast & lunch master baker and co-owner Melissa Weller is baking hand rolled bagels and pastries to order– literally servers walk around asking who wants a new hot bagel. Sadelle’s offers classics such as sliced to order salmon and sturgeon towers, chopped salads, cinnamon buns, stuffed French toast, sandwiches on inside out bagels & triple decker’s.
In just a few hours, the vibe of the restaurant completely changes, as the room becomes pitch black and is filled with candles and antique glass decorations. Highlights from dinner include the Pigs in a Blanket, Curry Lobster Salad, the Caviar, Russian Potatoes topped with sour cream and trout roe & Fried Chicken served with truffle honey and hot sauce.
